New Appointment

4th August 2023

We are pleased to today announce the appointment of Lee Epstein as new Director of Eco Cascade. Lee has been instrumental in advising Eco Cascade over the past year, from the early days of pursuing avenues for funding and formulating project goals, through to the implementation of processing services. Lee brings to Eco Cascade over 30 years of experience in project and change management and joins Eco Cascade Co-founder Alison Baker on the board. Lee will continue to work on guiding business direction and matters of corporate governance.

Today sees another change in the board with Eco Cascade Co-founder, Dr Cait Murray-Green stepping down, from her Director role. Cait will however, continue as a key member of Eco Cascade’s Advisory Team and will continue to guide strategic direction as Eco Cascade moves forward into new seaweed processing innovations and exciting project work. Cait has been a driving force from the outset of Eco Cascade, from the early days bringing together a network of seaweed farmers and stakeholders to create the vision of Eco Cascade through to creating the business  strategy and securing the funding to build the first multi-purpose seaweed processing hub for Scottish seaweed farmers.
